| [slm] Just kidding....this is something of zippo importance...(considering the hungry and oppressed worldwide). But it is of Real importance -- that is Real Madrid. You see, i've been troubled for a while about the following issue: Who is the best striker in the world? Is it Ronaldo of Real Madrid? Van Nistleroy of Man U Theirry Henry of Arsenal? Shevchenco? Raul? Even perhaps new and upcoming Mutu of Chelsea? Or Michael Owen? Personally, I think it has got to be Ronaldo. Even if he doesn't score, Ronaldo just totally changes the way his team plays, and totally changes the way the defending team defends. He is so lethal, so explosive (he used to be even moreso), and so clever tactically and like so big. He is also on good form these days. Brazil is only half the team it is now when without him. After Ronnie, i'd have to say Van Nistleroy and Shevchenko are the best, although my favourite after Ronnie is really Thierry Henry. He is the most stylish player, and on a team with a better midfield (ok arsenal only have viera) he would be devastating i think. So what do you think? Btw, i cannot stand van nistleroy...too much of an opportunistic poacher... |
