[slm] OK now for some real controversy.... How many people know what happened during the east pakistan and west pakistan war? How many people know what really happened? I got majorly dissed once after giving a khutba when i briefly mentioned the horrendous massacres during 1971. People said it was controversial, it was subjective,...etc....when there is like no controversy at all about the fact that hundreds of thousands of civilians were killed and thousands upon thousands were raped by Pakistani troops then....(some say even millions were killed and 300,000 raped) Why do i bring it up? Cuz this is one of those issues everybody likes to ignore, and say never happened...and is sumthin which muslims should understand particularly for when the following happens When the indian missiles start flying above and their troops start to flood the Pakistani borders, and the pious muslims start praying for the angels to descend and protect the noble Pakistani miltary,....everybody will understand to what extent that the pakistani military is run by dorks and totally buttheaded people.... They raped and pillaged in 1971, and were brought up on a diet of dancing and drinking (u know at staff meetings, alcohol used to on the table and served to officers like it was only water), and I don't think anybody can rely upon them to protect Pakistan from India, and it is hard for me to believe that Allah will aid such a force. Granted things changed after Zia, but we still got Johnny Walker Musharraf in power.... So who's to say what will happen? Why would Allah help such folks? God forbid, should we be ready to say good bye Pakistan? Inna lillahi wa inna ilahir rajioon... |

[slm] I agree with everything you talked about, a friend of mine 'thought' he had deep insight on the issue but when he talked to a Bangladeshi girl in windsor Canada, she really swept him off his feet. Thats one incident that makes me hate our army, having said that, there are lotsa gr8 people there as well otherwise this land would've been history but alhamdolillah we have it. One thing we must remember is that a Muslim country is a gr8 blessing of Allah [swt]. When you plummet in a Muslim country at least dont loose your faith, what i mean by this is that i've come across cases when parents got addicted to alcohol or drugs or even died in non-Muslim lands and the children then were brought up by non-Muslims and ended up loosing their faith. 3 of them that i know of are in your city, yes in london?. ~sigh~ wassalam. |

Assalamu alaikum, I dont agree with bro hyper, what happened between muslims should be ignored and forgot . and i think it is best to forgive what happen in the past. Imagine a nation want to eradicate a particular people among it's population? It was my worst moment in my life . i was only 11 yrs old when our own soldier put a gun on my forehead try to kill me and told me to say SHAHADAH, because i was a member of that particular people.we never take a revenge and we forgave everyone If we talk about what happen between muslims we will forget what happenning to us as UMMAH. Talking about the bad past make wider gap between muslims. |
