I know it's been a while since I last posted, but my college peers would understand why, hehe.

I lost my focus in studying for Molecular Biochemistry, how do I get it back? Any ideas, anyone? Please? Free  []'s on me!  :-*

Assalamua alaikum

I am not sure I understand your post but if you are saying that your heart is no longer in your studies then I can understand that. Us students we all go through that. I always find revising for exams the most interesting part of the course because I finally start to make sense of the topics and that is actually fun. I would advice you put a little bit more time into your course and try and find components that interest you and perhaps read beyond what the fixed reading list is. if you can find some area of the course you enjoy or finally understand a difficult component of it then you may find your motivation for studying returning to you.

best of luck

ur sis

one way is to cut out all distractions:

stop watching tv
stop listening to the radio
stop surfing the internet

if you do that and still remain a good muslim, your priorities will come back to you.

otherwise, just start studying from after fajr.  It is amazing how much work you can do between fajr and the time to go to school, and still have 3/4 of the day left.

That's actually really good advice, I use to do that and it really did make things easier.

As for motivation: keep reminding yourself u have to study in order to pass!! And that it'll soon be all over, but in the meantime u just have to get on with it.  That occassionally helps motivate me  ::)

[slm] any reason you can figure out for this loss.

& is it only Molecular Biochemistry, or other subjects as well.

& why did you take up this subject in the first place?

Have the circumstances & priorities changed?

diagnosis & prescription will be made on receipt of answers to these questions. :)

otherwise, the general purpose anti-biotics have alraedy been prescribed, duas, & start studying just after fajr.

I think the brothers and sisters here took my first post to a completely new level  :)

Alhamdulillah my exam went well and I got a good score, alhamdulillah.

What I had meant in my previous post was that after 9 continous hours of studying the previous day, I could not refocus my mind to review the material and finish studying.  I think I should have made that more clear :)

Jazakum Allahu khayran to everyone for either responding to the post or even bothering to read it.  It means a lot that there are those who still care, even if I had not posted for such a long time (se7en, plz dont hurt me  :-*)

Anyway, I'll post when I can inshaAllah..classes are hard and time consuming, so Allahu A3lam.

Btw, my dear sister deenb4dunya, it was not my choice to take Molec Biochem....part of my requirements  :(
