I am working on a paper on "Orientalist Perspectives On Quran and refutation"...I need help:(

a) Who are the leading orientalists today? I would like to narrow it down..and right now i am clueless on who to begin with:(

b) Any must read books, links, etc on the subject?

c) I know kinda the basic arguments that they are putting forth...but anything that may help at all???  :'( :'( :'(

sigh..as usual i need this info if you have any asap:(..and renumerations are: mad duahs for you ;) sneak preview into the paper ;D and a free Bebzi []

here's our working outline:
a) Defn/history of orientalism
b) main critiques/arguments and refutation
c) Impact on Islamic scholarship/community and attitudes on both sides
d) suggestions for future Muslim endeavors...

sounds good? okay i actually need to go *get* started  :-[

any more helpful hints, direction, etc will be muchooo appreciated...
