Bismilllahi wa Salaatu wa Salaamu ala Rasulillah [color=Blue]Al Jama'ah presents[/color] [size=4]Ar-Raudah[/size] [color=Navy]Traditional Islamic Knowledge Series[/color] [color=Maroon][u]Teachers:[/u] Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi, Amir Muhammad Shareef, Sidi Hakim Archuletta and more teachers to be confirmed. [/color] The beloved of Allah [salallahu alaihi wassallam] described circles of remembrance/learning as gardens [Riyadh, sing. Raudah] of paradise. Ar-Raudah is an initiative to bring the traditional model of learning the Islamic sciences to the Houston and surrounding areas. Our focus is to give students an exposure to traditional learning by introducing them to short classical Islamic works and to introduce them to our organization’s activities. [u]Theme:[/u] Reviving the Sunnah [u]Texts/Subjects:[/u] Excerpts from Ihya As-Sunnah (Revival of the Prophetic Sunnah) and Umdat Al-Ulema (Support of the Scholars) by Shaykh Uthman Ibn Fodio, excerpts from Ash-Shamail At-Tirmidhi, Reviving the Sunnah of Islamic Medicine and Natural Healing and more. This is subject to change. [u]Dates:[/u] November 27th, 28th and 29th. [u]Location:[/u] Islamic Da'wah Center - 202 Main Street, Houston, Texas. [u]Time:[/u] 9:00 AM onward. [u]Cost:[/u] $45 (Without meal option) and $65 (three meals included) before November 1st. After this date, there will be an increase in the amount of ten dollars. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. [u]Accommodation:[/u] Group rates available for out of town students at the downtown Hyatt (3/4 of a mile from program site). [u]Shuttle Service:[/u] Shuttles will be provided for students flying in and out of Bush International Airport (IAH). [u]Vendors:[/u] Vendor tables are available to sell Islamic and related items.
