| i was not going to vote for arnie until the attack dogs came out. I canceled the la times and voted for him. Looks like it backfired. ANd it was nota plo by the guys in DC. Davis is hated by all. |

| [slm] don't you guys feel a bit paranoid: (1) Austrian becomes governer (2) Austrian is a thug, and looks like an oversized hitman (3) Austrian apparently admired Hitler (4) This is obviously the Austrian's first step toward becoming president (5) Hitler was an Austrian So what will the terminator do when he becomes president?? Gee, I wonder...maybe....like.....terminate.....hitler style?? PS: yeah, i know you have to change the constitution for that....but anything's possible nowadays... |

| AA Actually, he can never be President because you have to be born in the USA to be President. Why does everyone think there's a conspiracy? Many celebs have gone into politics : Ronald Reagan, Sonny Bono, Jesse Ventura (professional wrestler who became Governor of Minnesotta), Clint Eastwood (Mayor of Carmel, CA); in England we have had Gyles Brandreth, Seb Coe, and Glenda Jackson. |

| Assalamu alykum, We don't need to lose California to Republicans! :o Arnold is a fake. He drove up in a hummer (=fuel eating monster) talking about environment issues and fuel efficiency. huh???? |

| panjul, maybe i need to give you a list of liberal democrat enclaves in the LA area before you come out. When are you coming again? Maybe someone could look up in the archives, but there were more than a couple of esteemed madina veterans that fancied themselves as hummer drivers. (although i drive a pickup for work I am not a big SUV fan). and Ruh, all of politics is a consiracy in a certain manner and each side tries to get the upper hand. |

| hayat, our car of choice in our household is a minivan. I have had 2 suv and while i like the idea of driving above the crowd it seems once you have kids there is not all that much room in a suv and it is way easier to load the kids up. Panjul, you come from a state where everyone drive a cadilac with big horns on the front of the car or a pickup with a gun rack and you have rattlesnake roundups and you are talking about fuel efficiency and the environment. |
