This is from a sister even though her name is amatullah it's not me. As-Salaamu Alaikum, Dearest Sisters & Brothers in Islam: May this find you well pleased with and well pleasing our Lord. Ameen. With gratitude and a humble heart to the One Who Opens the Ways, I would like to announce the publication of my new Islamic books for children wa'lhumdulilah! To see and order the books, please visit: http://www.goodwordbooks.com/browse/search.asp?By=K&search=marwani OR Simply go to www.goodwordbooks.com and search for "Marwani". The books are very inexpensive at this website (from .70 cents!) and are truly beautifully crafted. A little background on me: I came to Islam over 8 years ago and have always been an avid reader. When I couldn't find age appropriate, enjoyable, properly written and Islamically correct books, I wrote some (as have many other talented sisters and brothers in Islam, Masha'Allah). I had the good blessing of Allah to be accepted by a Muslim publishing company and nearly a year later, have seen the fruition of this desire to reach the hearts and minds of our little ones come to life. "Zaahir & Jamel the Camel - At the Mosque!" is the first book in a series of 15, focusing on introducing Islamic concepts to young Muslims through rhyme, delightful illustrations, Arabic activities, quizzes, glossaries and more. Titles soon to be released include: "Zaahir & Jamel the Camel - Hajj!" "Zaahir & Jamel the Camel - Believe in Allah!" "Zaahir & Jamel the Camel - Charity!" "Zaahir & Jamel the Camel - Ramadan!", with other titles such as "Islamic School!", "Qur'an!" and "Muhammed (pbuh)!" to follow. I've authored the "Zaahir & Jamel the Camel" series entirely, instructing the illustrator and ensuring each page contains only halaal pictures (no faces on animals, humans). I truly love these books, not so much because I write them, but because the illustrations combined with the text get the message across in such an effective, loving, motivational and FUN way. The other two books listed for sale are the first in a series called "Allah Made them All". The books, "Birds" and "Flowers" contain lovely couplets of du'aa for the Glory of Allah and are also well illustrated, with more titles to follow, insha'Allah. (For this series, I have been contracted to contribute the text only as the illustrations have been completed beforehand; I do not know which books will come next in the series.) I do not profit directly from the sales of these books. I ask you to consider purchasing them for the benefit of your children, not my pocketbook. :smiling: If you'd like to see more about the books and others in production, please visit the companion website I've created for kids called www.weloveislam.com. As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated as is your support for teaching our children the dignity, love and honor of Islam and Muslims. Ameen! Please feel free to contact me directly if you'd like to see some sample illustrations and/or text. I'm more than happy to answer your questions -- educating our youth is worth the time, effort and energy! For the Sake of Allah, Amatullah Al-Marwani Wa Alaikum As-Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakahtu |

[wlm] They are the publisher so you can't order directly from them. You can go to one of their retail suppliers in the united states like islamicbookstore.com or khatoons.com and both of them sell the same books. |

As Salaam'alaykum Sisters and brothers You can order Sis Amatullah's books from www.goodwordbooks.com. It takes less than two weeks because GW Books has a New York distributor. The books are super. She truly has the gift of writing from Allah. You will not be disappointed if you buy her books. They are very inexpensive and the pictures and color are wonderful. These are early reader books. Sis Amatullah is a member of my Islamic Writers Alliance.. a group of very gifted and professional Muslimah authors! Oh.. almost forgot.. the New York distributor is The Bestsellers on the Internet.. don't know if Br. Khan has got a shipment of her books yet. Mine were shipped from India and it took 15 days to receive them from the time I ordered them. Widad |
