------forwarded message------- Salaamz girls, While I fully support Muslim artists/calligraphers, I think its also impt. to support these cards as well, in order to make Islam more visible (and to promote a pluralistic society) and so that in the future maybe non-Muslims will buy these cards as well. Perhaps we can all buy 1 pack from the Muslim artists and 1 from Hallmark as a compromise? :) wassalam, N Hallmark Eid cards Date: Fri, 10 Oct 2003 19:05:49 -0400 Asalaamu alaikum. Just a reminder to everyone that we should support Hallmark's recent introduction of their Eid card line and buy Eid cards from them. This is the first year that Hallmark is selling Eid cards so it would be great if they saw tremendous demand. Be sure to buy cards from them and pass the message along to anyone you know. Go to www.hallmark.com, under "shop" click "ecards & cards", then under "paper cards" click "shop individual greeting cards". You should see an option for Eid cards in the left hand navigation bar. Wasalaam, p.s. don't forget your Eid stamps, available at www.usps.com |

[slm] no offense sister, as i have the utmost respect for your views, but this appears to be a way for HallMark to get onto the "bandwagon" so to speak. It would appear to be more a way of commercialising Eid rather than for Muslim sentiment. Just a point of view. :-) [slm] |
