| [slm], I am a student studying law in the u.k, but am also intersted in leaning islamic shariah law. Does anyone know of any distance learning courses ? Your help would me bost appreciated. |

| [slm] Actually the American Open University is distance learning. They mail you the books, tapes, tests, and you talk to the teacher by phone, email and postal mail. Very comprehensive and has a proven track record. Plus, they offer all the courses now, and you can see the syllabus for each course on the website. www.open-university.edu http://www.open-university.edu/programs/EBP_offerings.htm It's accredited by Al-Azhar, and is a really good system. You can also check out Internet Islamic University http://www.studyislam.com/iiu/university/main.jsp This one is (i believe) totally online, with streaming video and chat etc. But i don't have any personal experience with this one.
