What the sin is for smoking weed?? Do you mean what the punishment is for doing it? Didn't quite understand your question.
Anyway, I"m no scholar but I thought I'd take a shot at this question.
Our bodies belong to Allah (swt) and He entrusted us with them so that means we must treat His creation - as with any of His creations - with respect. Since weed like alcohol and regular cigarettes harm the body they can't be Halaal. It's like slowly killing the body - a slow suicide. That's the point. That's why such things are haraam. Wa Allahu A3lam.
Hope that answered your question.

It's a waste of brain cells.  A very good friend of mine ruined his life over that stuff.  Alhamdulillah he's doing okay now (at least I hope he is), but once you shatter a piece of glass, getting it to normal is really hard.  So the religious aspect of it?  Wallahu 'Alam.  But the social aspect...is punishment in its own right.  Being dependent on something like that to fill in a spiritual void is just downright pathetic.  Needing something that erases reality is evidence of the fact that something is not right in your life, even if you think it is.  Speaking from the point of view of my friend, he scraped up a lot of unnecessary sins by doing weed.  He lied to everyone, including his parents.  He wasted good money on doing something very haraam (one of the things you will be asked about IN YOUR GRAVE is how you spent your wealth).  He broke too many hearts (including his mother's).  He shattered his own hopes (lost a year of school).  He has now resorted to another dependency of physically hurting himself on a daily basis to fill in the void that drugs left behind.  He told me that he can't remember 2 years of his life.  He doesn't recall any of it.  How sad is that??!!  He was the one person I was convinced would go VERY far in life.  InshaAllah he still will...but what a waste of time that was.  He lost all his real friends.  And now, after quitting weed, he has lost all his fake ones.  So really, ask yourself...where it will really get you.  Don't do weed.  As obvious as it sounds, it's not good for you.

Please pray for my friend.  May Allah (swt) grant him Hidayah...and may He keep all of us on the Straight Path.  Ameen.

Wasalaam.

Insha Allah that will help to answer the question of what i understand to be "what is the wrong in doing drugs" (?)
