| salam is working in bank/credit card provider haram ? if one is working in IT department(build/release) of bank will it consider haram? shukran [Admin Note: This question needs a fatwa. All things including details and personal circumstances etc must be considered so it would be better if you sought the help of an Imam or learned person inshaAllah.] |

| AA My personal take : I've tried to avoid this thruout my career for 14 years (even when I was laid off for 4 months), and I've ALWAYS been able to find more halal alternatives. Make the intention, and Allah will help you Inshallah. And say this dua : "Allahummak finee bi halalika an haramika wa aghnini bi fadhlika aman siwak". O Allah grant me enough of what is halal so that I can dispense of what is haram, and make me dependent on no-one but you. |
