| I had mentioned something about this on another board but I think it'd be more appropriate on this one... I was curious if anyone had read this? Or heard of it? I read it in one of my Anthropology courses last year and I think it's absolutely lovely. It had gotten mixed in with the books I sold back to the school at the end of the semester so I recently ordered it from work. And it'll hopefully come soon.... Anyway, it gives some good insight into how the lives of Muslim women in the Palenstine-area have changed from last generation to this one. If I remember correctly there's even one account of a grandmother's experiences. Soooo, if you haven't read it and think it sounds interesting I'd definitely recommend it. :-* |
