| EVER WONDER WHY?............................................................ BY ABU ABDULLAH Assalamu Alaikum, Ever wonder why the Muslim ummah is in such a pathetic state, our Muslim brothers are being killed all over the world, our mothers and sisters are being raped and killed just because they speak against being refugees in their own country, we are so divided amongst our selves that we cant reason as an ummah. The level of poverty and illiteracy is high amongst us, our leaders are the most corrupt and at the same time devoid of human feelings. After all this it is the same ummah on which Allah SWT referred to as the best nation ever raised for mankind. Why? Why? Why? Please can someone help me out? AbuAbdullah. Nigeria. |

| one reason, Muslims are too busy perfecting their iman to do anything about it. Muslims are too busy thing what the kaffar might say about them if they try and solve the problems. Muslims are too busy refusing to do actions they know they have to with the excuse "I am not a scholer". |

| [slm] Actually I think we are slowly bucking our ideas up. Apparantly last year when the war in Iraq broke out some of the imams in the local council not far from us set up a march to the town hall, it was very short notice but 150 people turned up. Needless to say the ward councillor was not interested and informed the imams that he was firmly behind the govt on this (and by rote the war). He also apparantly laughed when he was told upon asking that all the local masjids had been alerted to the march and we'd only managed to get 150 to rally round. Majorly ticked off the imams held an emergency meeting and toured every single masjid in the ward a few weeks later 1,000 or more muslims marched to the astonishment of the media, and was the councillor wetting himself?? Yes he was. Non-muslim's do not hesitate in misrepresenting and abusing us and our human rights because they don't think we will unite, they see in us fighting factions, I think personally this is slowly changing, slowly but surely.... | First of all please stop whining and crying and complaining about the :'( bad state of the Ummah!!! Do something positive about it!! There are many, many Muslims out there who are, but we never hear about them because they are drowned out by all the negativity!! This is THE BEST WAY OF LIFE! All people on earth are suffering but we hope for what they hope not for. :-* :-* We will only return to success when we embrace Islam and stop trying to get the kuffar to accept us!! Fear only Allah and seek acceptance from only Allah. Stop trying to imitate the kuffar!! If you would open your eyes to see, you would realize they are not successfull in this life or in the next!!!!!! Something very important for our success: EDUCATE WOMEN IN HOLY QURAN AND SUNNAH!!! THEY ARE OUR CHILDRENS FIRST TEACHERS. After that educate in the secular studies like math and science which as Muslims we should really emphasize!!! Women should realize that man made laws can be taken AWAY while the Shariah and the rights that Allah has given us can never be taken away no matter how much people want to practise their culture. I LOVE YOU MUSLIMS BE STRONG!!!!!! |
