Salaam all, I've done something stupid, i think, so if you can offer some advice, please do. I'm going on monday, which I thought was the last day of Ramadan to manchester. I could have fasted that day, but the problem is that where i'm staying I won't be able to fast, so if eid's wednesday, I'm in trouble and I'll miss a day of fasting. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks Adam |

[slm] Chances are, Monday will be the last day of Ramadan and Tuesday will be Eid. But if it's still Ramadan on Tuesday and you have a legitimate reason to not be fasting, then you should just make up that day after Ramadan is over as soon as possible (but not on Eid of course) :) [slm] |

[slm] there are only certain categories that are exempt from fasting...if you are sick, pregnant, travelling, insane, a child, old person... Curious why you wouldn't be able to fast Adam? I would be careful not to break fast for convenience sake, the Rasul [saw] warned harshly against that and that if you tried fasting 100,000 days you wouldn't be able to make it up. May Allah ease your affairs:) struggling sis :-) [wlm] |
