I am excited about joining this board and getting to know all of you.  I heard wonderful things about it so I decided to register myself.

I am currently in Yemen (Hadramout Valley) a city called Tarim.  I am sure you will be hearing lots and lots about Tarim in the future.. ;)

It's a great place and there are many western families studying here Alhamdulillah.  It's incredibly diverse but majority of the students who study at the Dar are from Indonesia because the dawah there is quite huge!

Let's see I don't know what else to say but that I am happy to be on this forum.  If you ever have questions about wanting to study in a great place you may contact me.

:-)

Thanks for the nice warm welcomes from you three.   :)

Sis Nur I hope you and your husband do decide to come here.  Like I said before it's AMAZING! The people here in Hadramout (Tarim) have so much love for the prophet  [saw]  and his family.  It makes one even closer to him  [saw] as a result.  I have seen many parts of the world but Hadramout is special because people REALLY practice the sunnah to the letter.  You just have to come and experience such a place yourself.

Hadramout is a small valley and the city that we all live in is Tarim.  The houses are built out of mud but it is nice.  Everything must be looked at inwardly here because the outward isn't all that nice, especially if you come from the west and you are used to the lifestyle there.

It's really a place of gaining islamic knowledge and devouting your life to ebadah and constant dhikr.

Anyhow, let me know if you want more info.  I hope to see you here one day.  Btw, are you in Indonesia?

Your sis
;-)
