| i am looking but i cannot find any. Well i am going to go swimming with my kids instead. Have fun in your snow. I hear rumors that snow is cold. Is that true? |

| There you darn Yankees go, hogging up all the snow again ::) We were suppose to head up to Alaska this week but had to change our plans :'( And a friend of mine from there is teasing me about the snow they have up there :( I WANT SOME SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Isn't it poliet to share ;D Enjoy Kathy, please take Ali out and have a snowball fight for me ok? ;) |

| [wlm] snow SUX.... a foot here and it's still blizzarding... our Eid dinner was cancelled... 3 months worth of work, money, time, effort, out-of-town entertainment, guests everything lost :( then the radio show was cancelled, the kids Eid party cancelled tomorrow... all that work and planning and money... it really SUX did i mention it SUX :( |

| [slm] i pray that sis readagain & all brothers & sisters get well & happy & successful in their ventures whether of the intellect, or whatever. & sorry for Jannah's loss of 3 months & everything to do with the eid dinner, but i have found that there is at least one blessing in whatever losses one has to bear, so jannah, if the cold doesn't get to you, when the blizzard stops, go out & throw snowballs. enjoy yourself. You can't beat the weather, so do what is required in this weather. In the blizzard, of course, I would either listen to the winds howling (I could actually enjoy it) from the safety of my warm room, or snuggle up in my bed with a book & read. make the most of what you have! |

| [slm] I pray that it snows so much that we don't have school the next day. ;D I love snow days. Once it snowed so much that the day we were supposed to go back to school after Winter Break, we got 3 snow days in a row! That was fun. Sis readagain, how can you hate snow! :o Its so fun! I have had so many happy memories in the winter season, maybe thats why I love it so much. Sis Azizah, I'll pray for you to get some too! Have fun! Wasalaam, Doha :-) |

| [slm] :) Back in the days when I was young and in school, I used to look forward to being snowed in ;D - i.e. where school days were cancelled... Then my friends and I would walk towards Kensington Gardens, London and play in the snow. We had competitions on who made the best snow angels... and on weekends we would just have a big snow ball fight and made snowmen... 8) those were the days.... now, I live in the tropics... sigh... no seasonal changes, no seasonal fashion, no chance to wear leather jackets, or leather boots...sob, sob... :( sister kathy, have a great time with the kids. for ideas in the snow, read up calvin & hobbes comics... ;D |

| [slm] i loooooooooooooooooooooove snow, maybe it's because over here in london we dont get that much but at the begining of this year we had some and it settled for a couple of days.... having snowball fights is excellent, and even better is going in afterwards for some nice hot chocolate and cookies..... [wlm] Baji Ps readagain i hope u feel better soon , i was ill around eid time so u have my sympathy and sis Jannah InshaAllah sorry for u too may next eid be far more successfull than this was planned to be InshaAllah |

| [slm] Snow, oh how beautiful she is. When it snows, it feels like the sky is kneeling, and wants to give you a big hug. The temperature rises, and your world becomes smaller. Only this small, snug, and comfortable world can be seen, and it's the only thing that matters. Everything becomes silent, and you can hear nature whispering to you. You love everything and everyone more when it snows.... Yeah, that's where it ends. Then you wake up in the morning. You have to shovel that mile long drive that the sister spoke about, and the 5 minute walk to the bus stop turns into 15. Later that night, unless it has snowed again, the temperature will drop 15 degrees. And all that purty white stuff? Well....it's not so pretty anymore...heck! it's not snow anymore, either -- it's ice. And us Canadians know very well that cold fronts last muuuchhhh longer then warm ones, and you have to put up with the dirty leftovers of that snowfall for weeeeeeeks. And oh Lord! When it starts to melt. That is a scene. But who's complaining? Wasalaam. |
