| [slm] And I'm desperate for duaa... PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE pray that I pass my AE course...the final is worth 80%, and I'm dying with it. Plus I have two other useless exams that are taking up vital brain capacity. Wasalaam. |

| [slm] OK, here is my du3a :) O Allah, remove the hatred of school from sister JustOne's heart in fact, if Thou replaceth it with love of school, it would be JustFine & (in this exam) get her marks worth 79.99% in AE course (whatever AE is) & well why not, let her have the full 80% & don't let her die with it, please though i don't understand why she would like to die without & make her other two useless exams useful to her & to rest of man(& woman)kind & increase her brain capacity so she isn't worried about the vital bit being occupied any more & make her pass all the exams with flying colors including the Final Exam on the Day of Judgment and O Allah! do the same for all other brothers & sisters aameen |

| Oh sure Timbuktu. Make it a serious comment about hating school. Just One. I hate school also, except for gym class. And i am not going to tell you how long it has been since i have been in school (although it is not as long as Timbuktu). But i do remember some peanut farmer was in the white house and inflation was at 18% and home loans were going for 15% |

Truthfully, for me, those school days were bliss compared to working life, with the stress from deadlines, bosses, colleagues, advisors, I wish that I can go back to school and escape! Just shows that the grass is greener on the other side! Good luck sister! :) |

Its a total mess this semester, subhanAllah. Please keep me in your duas. And I have both school and work to contend with! Anyhow, I can't complain about work right now, alhamdulillah things are on schedule so far ;-) . He was on Jay Leno tonight talking about his old Christmases on the farm. I watch too much late night talk shows.... Then I thought my oral presentation in Arabic class with 2 others dudes was a complete flop and an embarassment, but the teacher came up to me and told me it wasn't bad. I was so surprised. | As-salaam aleikum Just One, I know EXACTLY how you feel! I just had my finals a week ago and it was pure agonizing hell for me -- to say the least! ;)......I was taking this course which I was doing horrible at...I had to know ALL the psychotropic drugs and every little stupid detail about them...anyway, my instructor told me I needed a 75 on the final to pass the course( a required 80)...and I got a 76!!???!! Isn't that wierd?! Anyway, it wasn't by any means a good grade in my mind buuut I made it and I'm sure you will too!...Be strong and hang in there. Just think of the relief and joy you'll feel afterwards. |
