[slm] sisters, I was wondering if you had any advice about reducing the appearance of blemishes, all those spots leftover from breakouts aka acne scars. I've reading up on it, but most of the material out there deals with prevention of acne itself, which i'm working on, but what I need help with is how to improve my skin's appearance by minimizing the appearance of those blemishes that acne leaves behind. Any advice would be greatly appreaciated JazzakAllah Khair. |

[slm] Try Neutrogena On the Spot Acne Treatment and also the Acne Mask. I wear the mask overnight and apply the cream in the morning. I had acne for 11 years and this is the only thing that worked for me. My skin is now spotless and really soft and milky. [wlm] |

[slm] wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu Dear sister, Please know that with time the scars will fade a great deal but in the mean time a good thing to do is to exfolliat your skin at least once a week or depending on your skin type twice a week. This will help sluff off dead skin cells and bring new healthy skin to the surface which will help in the area of scars. Hope this was helpful ;D Fee Aman Allah, Amena |

[slm] Excellent advice sisterhood ukthi :-* Exfoliating will definitely help the skin to regenerate quicker, and get rid of any dead skin...which will make the products you use that much effective. Without exfoliation, you're applying the product to the dead skin and it can't penetrate to the underlying layers which need it the most! InshaAllah invest in a gentle one...I recommend MD's face and body scrub http://www.mdformulations.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=41&itemType=PRODUCT&sSearch=YES Pray this helped inshaAllah [wlm] :-) |
