| [slm] OK we're off to Dubai and India in a few days... I'm feeling slightly hysterical at the prospect. In-laws obviously want to see hubby and more importantly the new addition. Now any advice on what to take to keep a baby entertained for the 9ish hours the flight is going to take?? I am truly terrified, to top it all the baby has a piddling 10kg luggage allowance and she's got the most luggage....arghhhhhhh Anyway we'll be away for 6 weeks so if I'm not on much from now till we leave it's because I'm obviously going through some kind of breakdown. Remember us in your duaas please... in fact keep the flight attendants in your duaas too please.... Wassalaam |

| the one thing you need to remember. Babies do not automatically swallow when their ears pop, so the pain can be difficult for them. Other than that....sing and ask if instead of an inflight movie they can put on a Barney Video. I am sure the rest of the passengers won't mind. |

| One thing I know about international flights is that they accommodate kids a lot regardless of age. From boarding, in-flight to alighting. The attendants have been well trained. I hope your little one will have a great time on board and she will healthy now, en-route and at destination till you return. My duas are with you all, for a safe trip, nice holiday and good/wonderful memories. Halima |
