Just wanted to share a dear friend's poem
*******************************************************
There was once a man
He was sent to us
Peace be upon him
May the Lord’s blessing be upon Him!

Before there was agony and despair
Anger, revenge and no-pity was the rule of the land
Then he was sent to us

To restore the dignity of the believer

The woman that is dear to us all
There was no rule for the dealing of her
She was treated as some commodity
Trapped in Desire and Insecurity

He brought the message loud and clear
Taught us justice and taught us not to fear
His teachings are so near
Why don't you grab while you can O my friend?

Why O Why, I have heard this before
Why O Why nothing's changed at all
Though sandals might have become Nike
Everything seems to the same when it comes to the soul.....
Man O man you are divided by the races
The same thing flows through the writhing you....and the writhing me!

When it comes to the woman
Is she nothing more then what you desire?
She might be someone’s sister, but who cares?
She might be someone’s mother, but who cares?
She is getting humiliated, yet you say!
I have paid her and it’s all right

What price you going to pay to fix for a woman’s womb?
It is something that cannot be seen.
It is something that a woman protects
It’s is the dignity that every woman deserves

Next time someone is forced by circumstances, and is on for sale
Before you reach you wallet think on this
Will all the money in the world suffice the value of her womb?

He brought the message loud and clear
Taught us justice and taught us not to fear
His teachings are so near
Why don't you grab while you can O my friend?
