Anyone have any experience on ebay?

It has been suggested to me many times to sell my products on ebay.
I am seriously considering it.
Has anyone here had any buying or selling experiences on ebay?

I have had some experiences with ebay. I've bought books and actually just bid on one today. To be safe I look up the seller's feedback to see if they are serious and to make sure they will send my item.

My brother has sold some stuff too. He loves Nextel (a phone company) and whenever they come out with a new cell phone, he buys it. Sometimes he sells his previous phone on ebay. Sometimes he buys a couple of phones, and sells them on ebay since in certain parts of the US, nextel phones are hard to come by.

All in all ebay is pretty good. I'd recommend just putting up one item first to see how things go. Just make sure whoever you are selling your item to has good feedback. Then you'll know if they will send payment.

If you like it. Then eventually you can open up an ebay store with lots of items!

Out of curiosity what kind of items do you want to sell?

I hope that helped!

I buy and sell on Ebay frequently and highly recommend it.  Just make sure if you are selling things that you are as specific and honest about your items as possible when describing them. That way you should have no problems.  If you are buying, read the feedback before bidding.

hmmmmmm, I wonder how many people depend on the feedback reports, cause if it is to heavily then how does a newbie get a good go  ???

Mike, that was cool, maybe I can find a set that way also.
Were they in pretty good shape? That was a deal.

I did win a bid this morning on coupons for dog food (of all things ::)  )
But hey, with the amount of dogs I have, any savings is a big help.
I got 5-  $5. off coupons which is $25. savings for $9.  so with shipping and all $11. so I am actually getting a $14. savings, that is a tank of gas in one of my vehicals   ;D

I guess I'll give it a try with my products

Don't worry, Azizah, lots of people will buy and sell from newbies....myself included.  In general people use feedback to check for negative comments, that's all.

I get all my exercise tapes and DVD's on ebay.   I also bought my husband a brand new never opened Polo shirt (good for his business attire) for 15 bucks.

Cheap and Proud of it :P

Hey!!!!!!!!!! I hear that   :-/
Look at me, talking about cheap, I bided on dog food coupons, I thought it was cool, it was the brand I use.
14 saved is a tank of gas in my little car. (half a tank in my truck)
With 5 rescue dogs and over a dozen siberian husky's a savings is a savings   ;)

By the way for those who read my new puppy (asking for name ideas)  thread a while back
the names are (drum roll)
abby- only female (smallest yet has the most nerve, brave, fearless)
Zac - ( a very sweet and mellow pup)
Tucker- (a sweetie too)
Ky- (still not sure what this world is all about)
Thunder (the big bruiser with a what looks like a lightning strike mark down the neck and back.

These pups are only three weeks old and if I walk in bark   :D like the little stinkers at only 4 lbs  can do anything.

ok enough, back to the ebay thingy, This person whose stuff I bided on had a good record, I did look at it. I will try maybe 5 different items and see how it goes. I have to wait till my son and his wife get back so he can do the digital camera pics.

For a first time is it best to do one item of a kind or do the buy now thingy as I have several of the items I make?
