[slm] dear brothers and sisters of Madinat Al-Muslimeen

Just arrived to the city and wanted to greet all the inhabitants of this beautiful city ;-)

I passed by the site jannah.org some years ago, and used it frequently as a source, its list of links, and the beautiful recitation and so on.

After being away for some years I came by again and am truly impressed by the community that has been built up, bringing together Muslim brothers and sisters from all corners of the world. May Allah make it a source for all to learn, and may He the Almighty grant us the ability to act correctly upon the knowledge we get.

I pray that Allah protects all Muslim men and women from all evils, that He grants us knowledge and ability to do good deeds. That He the Wise and Merciful grants us Sabr and Taqwa, and that we become satisfied with what He decides for us, and that He is satisfied with us as His servants.

Concluding I will allow my self to give some advice. We should fear (taqwa) Allah the Almighty. We should love Allah the most Merciful. We should always be prepared for the one journey (death) that is inevitable for all of us, and be aware that we will be held responsible for all of our actions. We should be aware of the lurking danger that our nafs (“ego”) constitutes. And we should be humble and careful in dealing with any of Allahs creatures.

I am a wayfarer, might be that I stay for a while, and might be I continue my journey. If it’s a short visit, please forgive any errors I have made. If it is a long stay please forgive my erros and bear with me and correct me with hikmah and in good manner, so that this encounter is of good value to us all.

May this city prosper, May Allah reward its founders and its administrators.

[slm] Brother,

Welcome and enjoyed your intro.

Give up what appears to be doubtful for what is certain. Truth brings peace of mind, and deception doubt.
