Their father's a banker; would you marry em?

I have question.  Would you marry the son or daughter of a commercial banker,
knowing full  well that the son or daughter has been raised all their life on such illicit
earnings?

Another question is, would you marry a male or female currency trader who works at a bank
(and who is not going to quit their job after getting married)?  Currency trading is not
haram.  You are just buying dollars and selling francs, or something like that.  But the
person works in a bank which derives much of its total income from interest based
activities.  So even so, this seems scary.

as salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah,

I think it really depends on the way the son looks at his father's earnings.  If he is unhappy with his father earning money through haram means, encourages him to leave it for other types of work, and tries to the best of his ability not to depend on this income for his own livlihood when he gets old enough - then I think that is very different from someone who is okay with it, ambivalent about it, etc.

wasalaamu alaykum :)
