| Congratulations! May Allah's blessings be upon your marriage. Not to hijack your thread sis G_hijabi, but Sparrow, how was your wedding? And I hope our Barr would make an appearance (tho I doubt that). Didnt get to go to her reception as I had urgent family stuff need to take care. |

[/quote] It was FANTASTIC, thank you for asking. We had a small ceremony, relatively speaking, at home. The best part of the day was after everyone left, when the two of us sat in front of the woodstove laughing, eating leftovers and opening our gifts. | [slm] i am writing again... cuz this post alz makes me smile and laugh :) i know what you mean... just being engaze (not formal yet) i feel absolutely, wonderfully ( :) ) happy!!!!!!!!!! i just can't wait to marry the man i love soooooooo much, the man who is inshaallah my other half, and inshaallah like you i will be a whole self then ;) :) our marriage is going to be like winning something, like winning after a long war! cuz i am having such hard times with parents and other issues... but my father agreed (somwhat), now i have to work with my mother :) but inshaallah this is a battle we have to win... and its sweet to fight for your other half... :) ma salaama |
