| [slm] Ash-Shifaa' is a beautifully written classic by Qadi 'Iyaad. I've had this book forever and have only gotten half way through so far (will have to pick it up again). Don't know why, since it's an excellent book (translation...I'm sure it's much more beautiful in the original Arabic). It's just somewhat long and I tend to read more than one book at once (maybe that's why I haven't finished it yet...excuses excuses). In any case, I'd highly recommend it to anyone. It's not quite a seerah and not quite like at-Tirmidhee's Shima'il. Something in between. But it will definitely increase your love for the Prophet, saws. |
