| slmz freinds. just came across this very interesting website. hoping to get some advice from all you muslim freinds. im soon to get married to a man whom i will live with in madina. he is currently studying their an i hope to be there for a couple of years alongside him. i just needed some advice on life in madina. and the couple life. |

| I asked a brother I know who lives 400kms from there and knows the country to answer this for you. Hopefully in a day or two he will find time to do so. Also, Congrats on your upcoming marriage. |

| [slm] Yes sister azizah has asked me this before i read the post.I live in JEDDAH 400 kms far from MADINAH.I go there from time to time . MADINAH is the best city in saudi arabia in regard of religion it is a pretty city .and when you are there you feel natural happiness. you can visit the prophet's grave at any day ,when you are in the mosque of THE PROPHET,well it is really wonderful . I am sure you will like MADINAH . I have never seen a person saying bored there .it has such divine nice atmosphere The weather is very hot in summer and very cold in winter The best dates are here The city is modern that you can find any thing you need for your living some thing we appreciate we who live in jeddah There is a big area around the mosque this area during ramadan people hire workers to reserve places to spread the FUTOR (break fast .if you pass close to this place about 30 mnts before the MAGHREB prayers you will be invited by more than tens of people who are offering this food . its not a matter of eating but it has such a wonderful RAMADANIC unique culture .some people go there just to watch this . sister ! if you have specified questions i can answer you more clearly and indetail and congratulation [wlm] |
