Salams Shahida, I don't think it really matters given the wealth of evidence to indicate she is permitted to work, travel a certain distance without a mahram etc etc One cannot take a hadith in isolation to indicate a course of behaviour such as this, which is why it is wise to ask a scholar of the exact import of it :) But, erm, I can't recall it. Maybe another bro/sis can. ws Mossy
