Archives are all ready so it wont be that hard for you ppl to dig your "Very First Post on this board", especially when you can sort it by date and can find out date of your joining from your profile. Thats why i think its about guts coz you might be ashamed of the way you introduced yourself. hm...

Here is the link to my first post.. ah! the memories

BTW, i still think about going for that PhD (Phira Huwa Demaagh) sometimes. And once i offered lift to someone who was student of bro Asim Karim, he sure is a strict (but helping) instructor, unlike other "PhD" sort of PhDs :)

Thanks for digging that up Nomi.  It's been 12 years of marriage now and, Alhamodlillah, another kid on the way Inshallah.  Even though I live in NJ, I still support the (once again) World Champion New England Patriots.8br>
Now how many member's teams have won their major championship 2 years out of 3?  Makes me pretty unique, methinks...

Oh my God I don't believe you were able to find it. I even don't believe that I wrote that introduction but I am left with no other option except to accept it since there is a documentary proof ... :)

Although I find it a shallow introduction but the replies were extremely overwhelming and I think the way how I was excited about my marriage is quite embarrassing. Well the marriage didn't work but still it's quite a nostalgic memory.

Thanks brother Nomi .... you know what that was my earlier introduction with different user name and the funniest thing is that I did learn to do IM that time and when I rejoined with current user name then I sent the same messages to learn the same feature again and brother Nomi was the first one to reply and there was one sister also. I didn't know I was that bad learner ......

There were two ppl on the old board who helped me loads!

1] HiMY (in recommending where should i upload my website)
2] Sis Panjul !!! (how?)

Its her comments below, from the old board,  that helped me talking to my christian friends over the internet (there r 2 in my block as well).

[quote]
Asim, <.......> In the footnotes of the Bible it says itself this and this sentecne, paragraph, chapter, word, words, were changed. There's your proof. the christinas will be shocked, a lot of them, they don't even look at the footnotes! Or if they do, they look at the ones the preacher points out! Amazing how the human being can be manipulated and brainswashed.

The Christians read selected parts of the Bible, even their preachers can't quote verses from the Bible like our hufaz and scholars can from the Qurand *and* the Bible. I was watching a debate between Ahmad Deedat and some Christian televangelist and the televengalist says,'I have never read that in the Bible, where does it say that?'

My Christians friends say the same things when i point out certains verses from the Bible.

Oh wow, you found that! I did leave for good for a while. That was a tough semester. Then I came back as Panjul.

I remember how I used to read the Bible and muslims off the internet and on this board discouraged me. I dont read it anymore because presently I am reading a lot on politics.

Bhaloo, guess what happened to me recently? I decided to parallel park at my college because there were no other cars there so I just slid my car in and parked. Now, when I came back after class there were other cars parked there too, front and behind! Do you know how long it took me to get out of there? 10 minutes! My hands were sweating. I will never do that again.

Did i ever tell you I got my driver's license without doing the parallel parking? When it came time for that i begged the man to pass me without it and I promised him I would never try it. He let me go!

Sis panjul, when i started my research i asked two scholars for advice. One of them objected to me doing it, the other encouraged me. Now i can see that both of them were right !!! (if thats ever possible)

And i dint have in mind that its your words that i had been using to show ppl the reality until i revisited the old board. And trust me respected sis, if Allah changed someone through me using those words then u r one lucky girl i'm telling you :) (jazakAllah)

Dissent into Madness
AbuKhaled
03/17/04 at 11:59:02
Assalam alaikum wa rahmatullah.

(From the Funkmeister: Gwan with the lyrics! Aite!)

Wow, I’m welling up. No, I’m well up is what I mean. I am mean, yes. That intro - duck! - tion was cruel. But boy has it stood the test of time well. I’m proud of my spa the Funkmaster.

Is this some kind of ploy? Are you, Brother of the WhoMe?Nomi, in fact in cahoots with – no names mentioned HA! (the clue-th is out there ;))?

For Brother NomiOneKenobi, by linking us to this thread from a bygone time you take the new generation of Medinites into the dark and forboding past of the JannahOrg Board, when mobrule ran the streets and Not Introducing Yourself was like a Prohibition-era crime. I was like a teetotal Ali-G Capone back then. The Moderators here was always on my tail, and I had to outwit them at every turn, aided only by a few trusty comrades. They sure tried to bury that one well didn’t they? *Shameful* incident of the past. But they didn’t count on you li’l fella, did they, eh eh?! You and your sleuthing. Like me, who preceded you in trying to safeguard the interests of those targeted here back then (i.e. me), you risk exile into the lands of dull messageboards and lifeless eLists. A fate accompli if some would have their wicked way you know, as they did so with a harmless bystander such as myself, who was just minding his own business, when he got embroiled in this massive witchhunt, that resulted in a vendetta against him. I think, I think, sshhh lemme whisper it, she took out an (I.T.-)contract on me! So take heed akh, by unearthing this institutional corruption you risk not only your own standing – and I notice you have quite a cushty setup here, but that’s another story – but inflaming the beast that is Jinnah. She’s like a mehndi-coloured hulk once her wrath takes hold you know, except hers stays that ominous dark green – with that mildly unlikeable stench that accompanies it and puts off would-be suitors - rather than crumbling off to reveal a healthy shade of dark orange. But I digress.

This innocent exercise by a young and upcoming Medinite like yourself threatens to stoke the very flames of the embers that fired the fuel of the ash, that was left to die. The Alliance, that non-entity that tried so fervently to – and I quote the Mother of the Den, “squish” me (was that any kind of a welcome I hear you all wonder, loudly.) like a bug, failed spectacularly. I knew I should have been suspicious of some conflicts of interests when time revealed that two of this unsavoury bunch decided to do the nuptial thing (soon)!! Its just work eh, that ol’ chestnut…

Earlier I was reading the I-Met-Jannah thread, squeal. Shake it like a polaroid picture.

Hmm, where was I? Oh yeah, so this particular golden oldie of a thread, if it was a film it’d be The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, which makes Sister Jannah the Gunslinger. But then I thought to myself, no wait, I have a better one…

Not so long ago, when I rocked the Madinat’s saloon doors again, after my sojourn away, I was reading some of the threads, to see how things were these days. I quickly realised how dismal this place had become when I saw a thread by our erstwhile leader herself entitled LOTA: ROTI. I sighed and thought to myself, so this is how bad it has gotten, she’d now *initiating* threads about istinja implements, and flour-based foodstuffs. How dire.

Fortunately I looked closer, and realised – to, chuckle, my amusement – that it *wasn’t* about lotas and roti, but about me! But really I thought, as welcome as my return was, to liken it to that of a king was hardly appropriate. Such an obsession too. Then again, I know how much she respects me. You’d never get her to admit it though.

Slowly the truth dawned on me, like a sunrise in the Middle of Earth. I realised the cunning metaphor Sister Jannah was using, subtle though it was. Indeed it did occur to me, that as a lady of the asian descent, specifically indian-subcontintentus, as they say in latin, she has an old aga to look forward to with a hairline not dissimilar to Gollum’s. Probably. And her new apparel (sic, same thread mentioned above) has made her into Sariman (nearly). Which’d surely make her lovable rogue of a Sister Se7enwise Ganji, no? The Alliance was a Mountain that was Doom-ed-to-failure. A wizard attempt at a Fellowship, but it came and is now long (ara)gorn, arf arf. I was so glad(riel) when it all fell apart. Otherwise it would’ve just gone (el)rond and rond in circles.

Thanks for raking up that old non-intro, I had totally forgotten about it. It made me smile. You’re right, that dude rocks. Bring back the Funkmeister! Long may he reign!

By the way, I’m still over ten years old. I know I know, amazing. Just put it down to the Fatkins Diet. No weight just a second… nirvana. Nevermind.
