Beauty Manifest
"There is no real beauty which does not have truth concealed in it, and there is no real truth from which beauty does not emanate"- Burckhardt.

Beauty speaks so many tongues, taking forms that dazzle mere mortals into glimpses of a higher consciousness. Poets, singers, lovers, mystics, and saints have all crooned throughout time, each yearning to express the essence that keeps us restless at night...the essence that renders us hopelessly star struck, and awed by something as fleeting as a breathtaking sunrise, or as overwhelming as the vastness of the ocean.

The universe has been created in such a flawlessly harmonious manner, each level emanating deeply sophisticated intricacies of design...Mere mortals have spent their whole lives, searching to uncover the gems of truth hidden in each cascading drop of water, and each crystalline grain of sand. The sages know what needs not to be said, in tranquil silence they gaze unto the stars. The foolish, speak much but know little, creating chaos that reverberate far and wide. Yet each human is driven, hopelessly by a desire, an overwhelming void that remains restless to reach the higher realms of Knowing...touch the sweeter depths of existence.

What beauty the universe reveals remains hushed in the luscious spreads of mountains, and cloudless moonlit nights. Yet can you not hear it, if you but silence yourself a moment? Have you not heard the excited shrill of birds, the dazzling rays of morn? Have you not heard it, in the shouting heavens match when lightening strikes to awe the stars? In the engulfing waves of the deep seas thrashing wildly at the shores?

Illuminating, dazzling, tranquil, loud, wild, serene..it remains beckoning us into the rich secrets hidden within, tantalizing us beyond the ephemeral realm into the blissful domain of eternal Truth, where beauty never ceases to speak, and life intertwines forever with the Divine.

Beauty Manifest (Part 2)

In a world where the Divine is constantly stripped, and knowledge is systematically desacralized, how can beauty be envisioned or even defined? Can beauty truly exist, independent of that which enobled its matter into form? Can the delicately blind notice the subtle shades of harmony, or the graceful symmetry of artistry? Can dysfunctional lenses elicit delight in the beholder?

For the rusty hearts that can't quite discern, Silence has forever spoken in reverent and immeasurably beautiful tones. Have you not heard the words of the Divine? The rhythmic pulse of Truth, that reverberates into the darkest recesses of our beings. Gentle reminders coaxing us into higher awareness, the steady hand of guidance illuminating our shadows, persistent reason crumbling illusory defenses...Yet it is within this shattering lucidity of the Sublime, trembling hearts into surrender, that the very essence of beauty is forever immortalized.

It is within those sweetest of sips of Wisdom, that the blinding glitter of the mundane is subdued. It is those shafts of illumination, that distinguish the cheap shards of glass, from the brilliance of true Substance. It within those forgotten pages that every sign is elucidated, pointing to the highest pinnacle of all that is, all that remains, all that forever will be...the Truth.

When the Quran speaks, I hear the very Unseen around me reverberate, I feel the weight of Truth descend, and I can finally touch the delicate realm of utmost Beauty forever manifest...

Sis,
Maliha :-)
