| [slm] how are you? guess what? i am stuck with these two questions! will anyone help me out? 1)Imam Ash-Shaafi'i (d. 204 H), may Allah have mercy upon him, said, "If Allah had not revealed any other surah (chapter of the Quran) except this one to establish the proof over His creation, it would have sufficed them." Which Surah is he referring to? (Hint-- It is in Juz Amma (30th Juz)) 2)Upon hearing this verse Umar ibn al-Khattaab (RA) cried. "What makes you cry?" he was asked. His answer was: "Nothing succeeds perfection but imperfection." Which verse is this? 1st one i think is Surah Ikhlas... am i right? ma salaama |

| [wlm] I think the first question is referring to surat al-'asr. And the second one....I think what Br. Jaihoon said. Is this some sorta quiz? I like quizzes *grin* Please let us know when you find out the answers. Was-salaamu 'alaykum. |

| [slm] zajakallah kheir everyone... yes, you got it :) bro Timbuktu, i am fine... stressing about classes, but Alhumdulillah its all good. i miss coming to Medina :( ... cuz of loads of school work i can't come... i don't know aobut anyone else, but for me having 17 credits is a lot :) so i am sorta struggling here.... please pray for me... zajakallah kheir... i guess your work is bit hectic? :) inshallah you and your family are well...
