| [slm], What benefits does a person enjoy when he or she embraces Islam? I know some of them. But would appreciate some more insights. I'm sure there are some things I may not have even thought of. To get the ball rolling, here's the first benefit: All your sins washed away and forgiven. |

| [slm] well....just my opinion when i understood Islam: when someone embraces Islam....that person suddenly has a feeling of belonging. A purpose in life. The question of.."why am i here..what i m suppose to do??" is answered. [wlm] :-) |

| [slm] Relief, knowing the search is over. One huge impact that happened immediately was a sense of peace, that just washed over me, the moment I completed my shahada. |

But this is for only those converted to ISLAM and being ISLAM is by what you do and not being just Muslem because you are born a MUSLEM so it depends on how you live as a muslem :) Provided muslem means at the first point the SHAHDA and praying |
