| [slm] ...when you find yourself thinking about posts/IM's in the midst of the *real* world, all too real when you are reading the Quran and can't get someone's words off ya mind. ...when you have rubbed many many many souls the wrong way, and your intentions are often misplaced. ...when you turn on the computer and the first thing you do is spontaneously check Emails-Jannah... ...when you find yourself spending wayyyy too much time online, when you should be doing real things..like go to the Masjid or sumthing. ...when you have real Virtual friends..and much too real virtual nemesis :'( and the number one reason... ...when your relationship w/ Allah is affected in the process of adding more distractions and madness to your life. so my beloved bros and sisters...i can never say goodbye to you forever, for I do love you all for the sake of Allah truly ...many like me sunshine :-* and other amazing souls here, taught me what that precious type of love means. So call this a short term adios...a training for me soul, to strive for tangible things, and extract myself from the virtual world maybe for a minute more or less to enjoy a glimpse of the sunrise, or a walk in the park, or an extra minute in sujood...w/out wondering what the next post will hold. I ask you all to please forgive me and maybe if you don't dislike me too much..yet.. make duah for this sad soul... take care Inshaallah:) and May Allah guide us and protect us all from the evils within and without. PS: I won't be checking me IM's for a while. Jazakumu Allahu Khayran :-) Sis still struggling *a lot*, me. [wlm] |

| [slm] Come back soon, inshaAllah! Thank you for all your help throughout the (wow I think it's been a couple of years already) years. May Allah bless you for the constant help you have provided me with. Maybe by the time you return, I'll be on my long break (which I'm coming close to taking, too)...so keep in touch somehow, and take care of yourself. Wasalaam. |

Jazaki Ellahou Khairan for the many wonderful and inspired contributions you have made, and I pray you will continue making once your "Itikaf" (withdrawal) period is over InShaAllah (God Willing). You and the many sincere and kind contributors on this board are the vibrant soul of this Ummah-island in these troubled waters. Many of us see the injustices and lies in the world but few are able to shout them out of their system so eloquently. May he make you find your balance and always guide you to the straight path. I even flattered myself that we were kindred spirits and was hoping to get to know you better online. Been wondering tho why you hardly ever post now and now you spring this surprise... Yes I believe I got hooked on your contributions right from the start as well… Your efforts with the Purification of the Heart series… the Virtual retreat you brought back to share … the contemplations of the lost inner child in the pouring rain … Masha’ Allah (truly refreshing). | [wlm] enjoy ur break maliha.. i know ur under alot of pressure with ur new studies and stuff.. everyone needs a break...this winter has been toooo long.. in fact i'll be taking mine soon.. roadtrip!!! going to nyc and dc... but don't worry y'all the board will stay open inshallah :) |

| Maliha, Have a great vacation! i hope I was not one of your nemisis's's's's's's. or is it nemisi? just remember, you have touched people and you may never know how. I think one of the great movies is: It's A Wonderful Life! Maliha, you have touched many many people here and I would be one of them. And remember a sad soul is one who is close to God. It is the hardening of ones heart that keeps us from God. (by no means is this statement of faith or theology, just an observation). I do hope that I/we can hear from you in the near future. mike |
