| [slm] Recently our girl scouts troop had to participate in a thinking day event. This is a day where all girl scouts around the world think of their sisters in other parts of the world and try to learn more about them and develop bonds across cultures, nationalities,etc... Each troop had to learn about a country and present it to other troops during the event. We chose malaysia and we had a blast learning about it alhamdulillah. Now we're doing another presentation just for the parents of the girls in our troop. For this one i'm thinking of focusing more on the ummah. Ideally i would like to do a skit about breaking the barriers among the muslims , whether they be ethnic, cultural,linguistic, etc... I would like theme to revolve around the verse: [color=blue] "O you men! surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other; surely the most honorable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty); surely Allah is Knowing, Aware. " Qur'an (49:13) [/color] and also about how each one of us is like a piece of a puzzle, by itself insignificant but when all the pieces are put together then the most beautiful picture will emerge. That's where y'all come in :) I need suggestions.I'm very creatively challenged so i can use all the help i can get! Jazakum Allahu kheyra wassalam ps- the girls are between the ages of 6 and 11 |
