| [slm] Finally, the indian team arrived in Pakistan after about 15 years. What do you guyz think ? Who'll win ? It's gonna be interesting ....Here's my take.. India has a awesome batting line up, and are confident after good performances down under. Sehwag, Dravid, Sachin, Laxman and Ganguly all scored centuries in Australia. And are obviously in top form and confidence. India's bowling is little shaky as all the fast bowlers are returning from injuries. Zaheer khan and Ashish Nehra missed most part of the Australia tour with injuries. India will also not have Harbhajan Singh. Anil Kumble is expected to join the team for the tests, but again he will also be coming back after injury. Ajit Agarkar, who was India's best bowler in Australia, will miss the tour due to injury. So, India has endless problems in bowling. I think India's chances will totally depend on the performances of its batsmen. Pakistan has a relatively in-experience team. However, their performance agains South Africa and then against New zealand has been good. Their batting would depend on Inzamam and Youhana. I'm not sure how good the other batsmen are. The pakistani bowling is strong though, with the return of Saqlain. Shoaib Akhtar, Sami, Shabbir and Saqlain form a formidable attack. My take is, in one-dayers, india 60:40. ( the reason is one-day is more a batsmen-oriented game, and india's batting is stronger) In tests, 50:50. What do you guyz think ?? |

I witnessed a match at the Karachi stadium between India and Pakistan then. Liaquat Ali Jatoi was the Chief Minister of Sindh at that time, and he came to the stadium just to spend few minutes watching the match, and check out the security arrangements. I hadn't seen so much police in Karachi at one place in my life before as much I saw then. More comments on teams and match later, InshaAllah :) Wassalam. |

| .[slm] When I left home this morning the score in today's practice match was India 208 for 3 :'( . The Indian team is the one which will play in the one days, while Pakistan put up the A Team - oh well I guess it's a good way to test the young players and see who has potential to make it to the senior team |

Lets be real bro! This world has never seen a fast bowler who wont go "flat out" after being hit for sixes by those who didn't even get a chance to play in the national team. (ok i admit, i borrowed this line from a friend who made me laugh alot last night. He was there in the stadium and all of them were shouting "LAGAAY RAHOOOO* :D") Match starts one hour from now. | [slm] :-[ ok. India draws the first blood. As expected, Indian batsmen fired all guns. Sehwag scored a quickfire 79 and then a composed innings from Dravid saw them score 349. A score of 349 is always difficult to chase, but Pakistan made a good effort with Inzy and Youhana coming good. [/quote] Pakistan's strength was it's bowling. They should have played to their strength. They should have put some runs on the board and expect the bowlers to restrict India. But I guess the Pakistan A successfully chasing a big total against India at Lahore the other day might have prompted that decision. Anyway, India 1-0. Khair, the scene shifts to Rawilpindi now. |

| AA As a fairly neutral cricket lover, I have to say what a great match it was! And that was just following it on the internet, but they did show 5 minutes of it on PTV Prime. |

| [slm] It was an amazing match alhamdulillah, because it was so close i didn't mind So much that we lost. Don't know if i want to go to work tomorrow....... ;) [wlm] Baji PS got to get up at 4am again tomorrow to watch the first innings inshaAllah....so better go get some sleep. PPS 'Humble Muslim' ARY and SKY sports extra are both showing live coverage of the whole series in the UK. |

We were on a company dinner and they had installed a projector and screen in the lawn at the restaurant (Ziafat). heck forget about the dinner, lets talk about the match... so i was saying heheheheheheeee heh heh heeeeh ok, did i tell you that party was thrown by some employees including me!! | HER DIARY ======= Sunday night - I thought he was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a cafe to have some coffee. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment. Conversation wasn't flowing so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk, he agreed but he kept quiet and absent. I asked him what was wrong - he said, "Nothing." I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said it had nothing to do with me and not to worry. On the way home I told him that I loved him, he simply smiled and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior; I don't know why he didn't say, "I love you, too." When we got home I felt as if I had lost him, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there and watched TV; he seemed distant and absent. Finally I decided to go to bed. About 10 minutes later he came to bed. I decided that I could not take it anymore, so I decided to confront him with the situation but he had fallen asleep. I started crying and cried until I too fell asleep. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster. HIS DIARY ======= Today PAKISTAN lost the cricket match. DAMN IT |

| Vat, a ,match it was.The series of australia and england is called the ashes,i dun think those series r ;-) more thrilling than the pak/ind tournament. |

| Assalamu 'alaikum, Asia Cup is about to start, and Pakistan will (probably) face India. But more interestingly, we have the One Day series coming up in August between Pakistan, India and Australia. That's going to be a thriller for sure :). So who's up for it? Wassalam. |
