| Please when somebody meet a congregation prayer,for instant a magrib prayer, and the first raka'a was already be performed before you cames, you only meet last two raka'a, second one which is said in loud and last one which in silent, by the time you want stand and Perform the last one you missed how do you going to do it, is it in loud or silent? and is it replacement for the one you missed or you just continue to complete the remaining? please sorry for the random sentences. Jazakhs. |

| [slm] first of all, all rakaahs that you say alone, are "silent" or rather "whispered", whether they are alone, or they are the missed rakaahs from our Jamaah. second: when you meet the congregation, you will follow the imaam, and say the rakaah as he says. e.g. if in your example, he sat down after his 2nd rakah, you will also sit down and say the attahiyyat as will all the others in the congregation. Similarly for the 3rd rakaah. You will say these as if these are your 2nd and 3rd rakaahs. Now after the imaam has said the salaam, you will get up, and say your first rakaah, but still at the end you will sit down and say the attahiyyat and the durood and the duas. from what i am told this is the fiqh of all the four imaams. | Brother Hussy The Rakaa you have reached is considered the first RAKAA for you.so You will go ahead with the IMAM and complete what you have missed alone and according to the example you have put the LAST RAKAA should be silent but any way the matter of silence or not is not so big obstacle to make the PRAYER not correct . If someone is honestly ignorant even the wrong way he has prayed is accepted INSHALLAH |
