| [slm] Is anyone here besides me reading or have any of you read any of Robert Jordan's wheel of time series? If so have you been noicing the islamic refernces? I have noticed several but the most recent one I noticed was part of a hadith. "you may be able to pick out a black thread form a white in this but it isnt day yet to me" p. 221 book 10. And of cource in the first book the name of the evil one is the same as the name of evil one mentioned who I prefer not to name, and the Aiel remind me of the souix meeting the beduin meeting the kiowa. I've noticed other stuff, but I just wonder who is robert Jordan's islamic source because he definately has one. And also as far as a totally non pornagrafic work of ficiton goes, this is one, but sont try rearding any of the Conan stuff, jeesh. Just curious and thought I would share |
