I was driving today and I do some of my most serious thinking when I'm driving (no smart alic comments about woman drivers now ok ;) ) After reading some posts, I was wondering what if a new person was visiting jannah.org for the first time??? I remember when I did, all the boards :o which one should I click on first??? So imagine someone clicks on the board where we talk about world events??? Does the way you come across reflect Islam in your words to a new person? In any of the boards, if we are fighting, putting one anothers opinions down or there is a post someone is leaving or fighting, is this how you want what could possibly be a persons first experience with Muslims to be like??? I have no qulams with debates and non agreeances, if it is respectfully and tastefully done. What would please Allah? How would the Prophet have done or said something? What impression would you like to leave a non believer with should YOUR post be the first post they stumble across? Just some food for thought. |

If I got what you mean , I think this is what is happening these days Many Muslems are not giving much care for what it could mean to look like hideous to the others with their deeds >:( .They actually make lots of stain on the ISLAM with their activities and this is really so miserable . Muslems are supposed to be attentive at this point And at the same time I think if some one judges on a book from its first page :-/ it would be better not to have read it all . other wise he will stop reaching the marrow . Islam is not to be blamed for what few ignorant ,muslems might have done or said but sadly this is what is going now adays .any mistake done by a muslem is related to ISLAM and this is wrong so it depends on the aim of reading any paragraph written If the plan is to know and see what is going on obviously the reader will go ahead till riches the point he can give full suggestion Any way both sides need to be very cautiou on their conclusion MUSLEMS should trace what they want to say be fore it is out of the lips And non believers should not take all the muslems perfect or ills . Both of these wont give the chance to meet at the point of understanding each other Sorry I couldn’t quote your questions but I try to answer it 1 -What pleases ALLAH is to not harm others with words or action 2- The prophet says, Muslem is who others are safe from his tongue and his hand He also said when some one comes to you with any message make sure if what he says is true 3 -It is very important to think well before saying any word :-X ;-) |
