I  HAVE  SOME  THING  I  HAVE  BEEN  ASKING MYSELF . SOME  OF  THEM  ARE

1-If  It  is   a  beggining so why  do we  hate  some  thing we havent  started  yet ?

2-Is  it the death we dont  like or  it is  a  matter of  unsatisfaction with  our  job on earth ?

3-If  such a  confession  is  existing  inside  ourselves  why do we  insist to  further sins ?

4- Is  it reasonable  excuse  to  say  it  is the satan ?

5-suppose we  feel we are doing  good job with  ALLAH  do we  still fear death ?

6-If  some one  is  not a  believeR  and still not  fearing  death  is  that  a
challenge    with  ALLAH  ?

These and  many  other  questions are  in  my  mind  .but let me  leave  other questions and answers  for  you but the goal  is  atlast  to  strength   IMAAN (faith)

what do  you say  ? ;-)

My two cents:

2-Is  it the death we dont like or it is a matter of unsatisfaction with our job on earth ?
Well, first of all we know death will be painful. But Oh yeah...it all has to do with our lives and how we misspent it.
3-If  such a confession is existing inside ourselves why do we  insist to  further sins ?
mainly because when we are sinning we are not thinking of confessing. It is our nafs, shayton, arrogance and laziness, and lack of knowledge that furthers our sins.
4- Is  it reasonable excuse to say it is the satan ?
Reasonable? Yes, but there are alot of factors allowing the Shayton to come near us...see above.
5-suppose we  feel we are doing good job with ALLAH do we still fear death ?
Yeah... because how much good ...is enough? And we never know what the state of oue deen will be at at death.
6-If some one is not a believer and still not fearing death is that a
challenge with  ALLAH  ?
I do not see why, He swt does not need us and it is up to Him whether to guide us.

first question I did not understand

Sorry  sister Kathy
I  did  make spelling error that  gave  strange  meaning but  I corrected  it now .
well ,,  am  reffering to  those of  us (may  be all  of  us   )as    we  obviously  hate  the death  though we  know  it  is another  step to  begin  a  new  life  called  BARZAKH.

It seems  to me  like  when some  one  is travellig  from  place  to  place for a  holiday .The  more  the  person  has saved  or  prepared well  the  more the  trip  will  seem  very  interesting

In  a different  circumstance  even  if  the  person  is  leaving his  place  for certain  difficulties   for a  better  life .

If we  have  freinds some where  we  might  enjoy  more than  to  be  stranger and  lonley
THOSE  friends  wating for  us are the  prophets . how  good  is  our  freindship with  them ? do we do what  the  latest of them ( mohammed ) told  us  ?

So when we are aware  death is  only a  transportation  from a  temporary destination to an everlasting  where we can  meet freinds we  love  and  all  the lexury life  .

Dont we  have to  start  saving some  credits to  use  it  there  ?

INSHALLAH MAY ALLAH LEAD US THE  RIGHT WAY
AMEEN

I know it is weird, but I just don't hate death.

I worry about my life and the 'books of deed.'  One of my favorite duas is  "Allah swt please let me live while it is good for me to live and let me die when it is good for me to die."

I will share with you something you may all find freaky.

This past weekend we taught a janaazah class to the sisters. The Imam called and asked my hubby if we could use Ali as a 'dead one'. My hubby freaked, but I talked him into it, as Ali was ok with it.

When Ali was shrouded and the Imam put the final ties on, a couple of women were visably shaken and concerned for Ali.

I, his mother, just wasn't. It was actually a sign of the possibility that my son will die as a Muslim, Insha Allah. What better earthly reward for a mother than that? How could I hate death, knowing that, Insha Allah, Paradise is next?

Sister  kathy  :)

I do  envy  you  with  your  big  IMMAN.( this kind  of  envy  is allowed   )
The story  you have  mentioned here is  realy  a  wonderful  example,to learn  how  much we  need  to  know  not the death  is  taking  away   persons  we  love   but  if  it  takes them the way  ALLAH  loves , then  it  is  very  fantastic  in this case .

But  some times  we  dont  say  frankly we dont  hate death  but the way we  react like  crying as a rejection gives  the meaning as  why the death  came  now?
specailly  women  .
I  have  also seen  people  when  you  start  talking about  death  they  say PLEASE STOP  THIS  SUBJECT  NOW .

But  we   hate  it  or  not  it is  coming

May ALLAH    make    the death easy  for  us  (SAKARAT AL  MAWT)
AMMEEN
