| [slm] It is ideal to constantly make tawbah for all our sins, big or little, so that everyday will be a day of renewal. However, we will reach a stage where we are very troubled with the state of our spiritual health and would want to make serious tawbah to reach a higher level spiritual purity. I need help from everyone who have come across excellent books or lecture series on making tawbah. I have my own references of course, but would love to add on to the ones I already have. Would especially love the ones which include practical applications too. I feel, day by day, the world getting smaller such that it is becoming claustrophobic. What is more is the fact that I truly believe that I do not have much time left. Whatever little time I have with me now, I would like to focus on making serious tawbah for the sins I have committed in this frivolous life of mine. Jazakumullah khair in advance for all your help. | AA Sis, Salavation through Repentance by Bilal Philiips, wonderful book. Contains many of the authentic duas from the Quran and the Sunnah for tawbah in Arabic and transliterated English. And NEVER despair of the mercy of Allah SWT. |
