The answer to this is probably quite obvious but how do you know what time to pray when you're on a long haul flight - eg 8 hours to Pakistan.  Do you just pray according to your own timezone or what.

Thanks for your help in advance - I find myself getting very  ??? thinking about this :D

Well since I know quiet a bit about astronomy, timezones, sunset/sunrise times, etc., I am able to calculate when to pray on the plane.  If you give me your departure and arrival times, I will be able to help you Inshallah.  Most of  the time its' easy cos you can join the salats.   Fajr is the difficult one, because the time for fajr is REALLY short when you are travelling from west to east.

You  can   postponed  the SALAT   that are  due    whilst  you are  traveling and  pray  after  you  arrive at  your destination  according to the local time  zone.
