| Assalam alaikum Everyone, :) I keep hearing things such as your body parts talking about (for) you after your death. Can someone please explain to me if this is true? What body parts talk about you and why? What do they tell? Stephanie :-) |

| [slm] yess its true on the day of judgement ..its in the quran .im sorry i can't find the quranic verse rite now but im sure some1 will post it ..it says something like...on that day will ur body parts bear witness against thee and ..also something abt ur lips will be sealed and body parts will talk and say how they were used ___treated or mistreated... :( |

| [slm] suppose I did some shoplifting, like picking up a pen, or a small bottle of perfume. 1. I saw it. 2. My heart desired it. 3. I made plans to steal. 4. I walked up to it. 5. I picked it up. 6. I hid it 7. When someone asked about it, I denied having seen it 8. I walked home, and 9. I used it. Now you tell us which body parts wre involved in this simple act of stealing. and you can make a list of our body parts involved in any other sin. On the Day of Judgement, when we are given our record of deeds, many of us will take a look at it with a sinking heart. Everything that I have done will be recorded in it. And I will then realize that there is no escape. Being crafty that I am, I will think of denying everything in the book of deeds, and when I am called upon to explain, I will say vehmently: "I did not do these things". and then I will be silenced and my body parts will be asked to tell the truth. and then they will speak. 1. My eyes will say: he looked at this thing through us. 2. My heart will say: he kindled a desire in me 3. My brain will speak up: he used me to plan a foolproof way of stealing 4. My legs will cry out: he used us to take him to his desire 5. My hands will say: he picked it up through us 6. they will say again: he hid it in his pocket through us 7. and then my tongue will speak up: he denied having seen anything 8. my legs will speak again: he walked home with it using us 9. and my body will say: he used it on me and then I will be allowed to speak, and I will say to my body parts: cursed be you. I denied this sin so as to prevent the punishment that you will now suffer. |

| [slm] Yes they wintness against the person who had them on earth. They tell what wrong way they were used for .ALLAH makes them talk to show the person his fair judegement and not randomly punishing a person. But aslo as long as we are told what will happen he also wants us be careful these organs we have are wintnessing our work Lets be careful :) |
