slm,

No way. Mine tops them all. Not really, but it was pretty funny!

Well, actually that day me and my friend went on a joking spree and played a couple. Then my grandpa died in Yemen (Allah Yarahm) and we kind of lost the mood and just stayed home.

I was on the phone with her and she said that I should grab some sponges (you know, the kind yku wipe the counter with) and pile 2 up. I grabbed 2 yellow sponges and put chocolate frosting in between and covered it. It looked like a little piece of cake. I put it on a plate with a fork and told my bro that someone brought it over. He spent the longest time jabbing his fork into it saying "Doha, what kind of cake is this?!" I was laughing sooo hard. He looked so foolish when his fork didn't go through. Ahhh....brother's are so much fun to mess with!  :)

But I am a joking type of girl. I play jokes and pranks on people all the time. Don't get me wrong, I do get serious when I need to, but I like to laugh every once in a while too.  I should dedicate a thread to all my pranks and jokes I have pulled on people and you could share yours too....

Man, thats just mean, you dont mess with a boy and his cake, or a girl and her cake for that matter.  But then maybe its not so mean if you get cake a lot.
but what if your brother went around saying so and so's cake is tough because of this and it gets back to so and so?
Oh well, I guess i just need to lighten up.  It must have been funny about him trying to get his fork in. How long did he keep trying?

slm,

Well, after a couple of minutes of him trying, I screamed out "April Fool!" He was like, "Ooooo, I was wondering what kind of cake this was!" and I told him it was a sponge. Then he got some cookies and ate them with the milk I gave him.

So nope. No feelings were hurt and he knows that I did it as a joke.

slm,

Hehehe. Don't get me wrong though. I can get really serious, but there is always room for a little fun. Here's a couple of pranks I pulled last year. That year was the funnest year I had yet!

I was really good friends with my counselor then. I was an office aid for 2 years and was on her softball team, so me and my friends were pretty close to her.She helped me do all this career planning stuff, and she knew my family really well.

We had this thing where we would put clothes pins on each other when we weren't looking and see how long the person would go without finding it. We would get everyone. The counselor would get the teacher, students, everyone. On April Fools' day they cleared out my locker and hid all my stuff and left a clothes pin. I was laughing sooo hard. I found my stuff about half an hour later in another teachers room. That wasn't the funniest joke. But you had to be there.

So, the last week of school we knew we had to get my counselor back for all the stuff she pulled on me. I hate taking pictures, and once she managed to get a pic of me and wore it around her neck all day saying "Happy Doha Day!" It was sooo funny and embarassing!

So with the help of a few teachers, we got about 200 balloons and for the last week of school, we got out of every class. We werent doing anything in those classes since our books were collected, just watching movies. We hid on the balcony of the gym and me and about 4 friends blew up all those balloons with one of those air pumpers and hid them behind the stage. We filled up my counselor's room with them and hung streamers from the ceiling. She was soooo shocked when she went in there! That was pretty funny.

I'll get back to you when I remember more.

slm,

Oh man....I got a good one!

There is a group of ladies loose in a city near mine. They dress up in niqab and go around asking for rides and going into people's homes for money. They steal and always carry a bag.

My mom came back from Yemen and bought me a niqab. She was having some friends over so I decided to scare them. With the help of my friend (the same one who gives me all these ideas and help) I grabbed my abaya and she stuffed me a big belly and HUGE butt and I wore my niqab. I also grabbed a bag and stuffed it with clothes. It was snowing so it was cold outside. I ran out from the back yard IN FLIP FLOPS and came to the front and knocked on the door. My feet were freezing so I was about to cry....which added to the fear of my mom and her friends. I banged on the windows and doors and my mom answered. I started mumbling words in Arabic and her friends were like "WHO IS IT?!" and my mom freaked out and started to close the door. Then I shoved my hand through and was talking in Arabic some more. Then I pushed through the doors and everyone started screaming thinking that I was the lady who would steal from people. Then I went into my house and pulled off my niqb and screamed...."It's me....Doha!" They all laughed sooooo hard.
