Don't you believe Allah gave knowledge? Medical knowledge? If so then why not see a doctor in time of need? Personally I like to explore alternative, herbal and other health ways, but one needs to know when to see a doctor. It takes a special intelligance and heart to become a doctor, intelligance and compassion Allah gives. |

Yes I do believe ALLAH gave knowledge that it is very very very recommended in ISLAM to see the doctor when we need that, other wise believing not in this means not beliving in that ALLAH has given knowledge for his creatures means he has no knowlege as well means not beliving his ability .so yes I do believe in that And to proof this and the big trust and authority the doctor is offered , 1-A doctor can delay his prayers if he has for instance a surgery ifr the pateint needs a concentration at that time . so the treatment is given the proirity as u see 2-A doctor can prescribe things not permissible to take like alchol if he is honest this is needed as a medicine for his pateint .this is not HARAM(FORBIDEN) in such necessity 3-A doctor can stop someone from fasting if he sees it is bad against his health and the pateint is excused for this 4- A man doctor can see any part of a woman if this is necessary for treatment and many other authority are given for them because they are doing some thing very necessary for the mankind ,They also get AJER (reward from ALLAH )for the good job they are doing.and not only them BUT every body besides what he earns for his work but every work done that is useful the person is rewarded for it from ALLAH A mechanic a carpentor bakery etc, But what I meant is after we see the doctor we take their advice seriously like if they tell us stop smoking we do stop that immediatly .But if we are told religously we dont give care for such an advice If the doctor gives us a bottle of honey we take it very punctually but the bottle of honey we have at home might never been used at all even for caughing and minor sickness in term of it is mentioned some where in QURAN I am only refering to responding to what ALLAH told us to take as a medicine for our own benefit. if the doctors he has taught can be a reason to cure us what about his prescription and that is all By the way I have been to the doctor today .he told me I am ok. :) |
