| slm, I've had lots of funny moments with animals. I am dedicating this thread to my and your stories. I'm really scared of those things.... So here they are, "Doha's animal stories" A few years ago I was playing softball for my school and we were at an away game. I was in center field and in the middle of the game some WEIRDO let their dog run around WITHOUT a leash. I am really afraid of dogs so when I saw it coming, I interrupted the game and ran around screaming. Everyone was laughing so hard and the ump was saying "If you run, it will chase you!" but I couldn't help it so for the longest time I ran around the enitre infield and outfield screaming as that stupid dog chased me! It was pretty funny. I was at a friend's house for the first time and wanted to make a good first impression. My friend has 2 dogs that were in the house that no one told me about. Her mom ordered pizza and there were like 4 boxes since there were many friends over. I though it would be nice if I helped her mom carry a few boxes so I grabbed a box from her mom and one of her dogs came running to me! I screamed and grabbed on to the wall. She tried to grab it by its leash but it came off and The pizza box tilted over and her mom's pizza spilled on the ground. I was so embarassed! We USED to have 2 birds that my big bro loved to scare me with. We were watching TV with some friends over so my bro let them out. I freaked out and hid under a blanket. My sis thought it would be funny to tap her fingers on the blanket so I thought it was the bird. I rolled over and threw up the blanket and started screaming. We had to "parrot" sit for a family friend. It was a big parrot named Kiwi that talked. My mom hated it cuz it was HUGE and always said "You're fat!" and would do this annoying Three Stooges laugh in the middle of the night. My mom was vacuuming and the bird jumped on the vacuum and she wacked it with the vacuum hose thingy and it flew on the curtains! It was mean, but hilarious! Especially when she's screaming crazy things in Arabic! I really don't like animals. My neighbors used to have a 12 year old German Shepard named Jordan. It was HUGE. Me and my sis were like 8 and 10 and we were riding our bikes down the street. The dog was banging on the gate that kept him in the yard and he broke out. I rode my bike like there was a fire behind me and my foolish sister jumped off and started running. It chased her down the street and bit her butt. I was about to cry and my neighbors ran outside and caught him. For an 8 year old little girl, that's really scary! Maybe that's why I don't like dogs... I babysit a lot. I was babysitting this 3 year old girl and we were sitting on my porch. A friend of mine came up to my house with her dog. The little girl started to squirm and I said "It's okay, it's only a puppy. Don't worry." Then my friend brought it a lot closer and I freaked out, grabbed the kid, and started running. My friend was laughing sooooooo hard! The little girl started to cry, but I calmed her down. From now on, when I babysit, I'm keeping me, and the kids AWAY from any animals so I don't scare them! I'll post more when I remember them. | [slm] That was vert cute sis Doha. Some, ahem, are so gripped by fear that they literally freeze which comes in handy when a dog is in the vicinity. 8br> take care wassalam |

| ugh ! i don't like dogs also i get terrified if i c one my experience with dogs has been ...less frequent and incidents also just 1 or 2 which i remember really faintly anyway there was a huge black shepherd dog of some far of neighbor..(v live in a coloney) and he never used to tie up his dog some where jsut let it free thats y whenver v (me and my friends) used 2 go out v used to go out with some 1 old ..u no just 2 back off the dog ..any way it was 1st time i was going alone i was only 9 years i guess can't remeber but i saw te dog and started running madly there were swings nearby and i just climbed on the slide and sat there crying i cried and cried and the idoit dog didn't go away ...finally some big bro of neighbour came and picked me up and took me home ..i still crying on his shoulder ..( :D) .. |

| [slm] We had this neighbor who knew we didn't like his dog. So in spite, while we were playing outside one summer night, my neighbor took his dog out of his apartment and told the dog to "suck 'em", referring to my bros. Instead it chased my cousin and I into the elevator...we were screaming at the top of our lungs. It was even scarier when the elevator door closed. I was on one corner of the elevator and my cousin in the other. The dog kept jumping back and forth between the two of us...barking in our faces. As soon as the elevator door opened and my cousin's turn to get barked at...I jetted, leaving me traumatized 'til this day. ::) Now that I think about it, the dog was probably just us terrified, especially at the sound of our screaming. Since then I have always steered clear of dogs. I really dont like it when they get too close and start licking my leg. I believe their saliva is najis. [wlm] |
