| [slm]... Have you ever thought about going to the mall and then meeting your long lost friend you haven’t seen or thought was long lost and say…what a coincidence? Or going to the store and seeing something you want on sale that you have just the right amount of money for and say…what a coincidence? Or pick up the phone to call a friend and hearing their voice on the other end before you start dialing and say, I was just about to call you? Or you walk into the room and someone says, we were just talking about you? Or you’re driving home and see a dead chicken on the road, a dead white feathered chicken and started laughing….a coincidence? I think not! There is no such thing as coincidence. I believe that word was dictated by an atheist cause we all know it’s all Allah’s will my friends even the slightest thing. Did I ever tell you this? True story…. I was having a bad day at work with all the Iraqi war and Philasteen problem going on. I was driving and talking to Allah at the same time and just thinking about how much better the world would be if everyone understood peace and unity. I ended with a du’a to have mercy on us all. Then a few seconds later, up the road, was this white thing swaying in the wind in the middle of the road. I got closer and it’s a chicken. A chicken in the middle of the road, in the middle of the city. What comes to mind is that joke I could never get: “Why did the chicken cross the road?” And so asking myself that I answered: “It couldn’t because it became road kill before it reached the other side.” :P And my day was lifted cause I couldn’t stop thinking about how hilarious that was and it was something I needed. It made my day. That break was Allah's (SHT) mercy upon me. :) May Allah have mercy on us all. Ameen. :-* Ma-assalamah…. |

| [slm] SubhanAllah sister!!! Okay, this is my 6th post for today, so please forgive.. When my sister was getting married, we had a little shower for her, and afterwards she sat opening all her gifts. As one china dish turned into another, my sister started getting kind of weary and said "man, can't anyone get me anything that I'd use? like a purse maybe?" My sister is one funny chick, so she said all of this in good humor. And she picked up the next gift which was the size of someone's hand, and ripped it open. Then she died laughing. Inside was a little jewellry box shaped like a purse. It was SO funny. Wasalaam. |

| [slm] Yeah, these coincidence things happen to me all the time. Like last week, I hadn't heard from a friend in a while, and said, hmmm, I wonder if this friend will write to me, and the next day, an email arrives. *duroo* *duroo* *duroo* *duroo* *duroo* *duroo* |
