| Try and answer the following then...by yourself! Lets see who's the first to get all of them correct 8) Post your answers here. :-[ 1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him? 2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be? 3. There are two plastic jugs filled with water. How could you put all of this water into a barrel, without using the jugs or any dividers, and still tell which water came from which jug? 4. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away? 5. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? 6. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. |

| [slm] 1. i think the room with the lions will be the safest. they should be dead after 3 years of starvation 2. it is probably terminology for something other than murder. maybe meant took his photo (shot him), developed the pics in the special solutions ( held him under water for 5 min), then put the pic to dry (hung him). a play on words, in other terms. 3. don't know. i get the feeling the answer will be silly though. 4. coal 5. xmas eve, xmas day, boxing day ??? or in arabic sabt, ahad, ithnain (i get the feeling that this might not get accepted :D as an answer) 6. no "e" ? "e" is the most frequent letter in the english language. it would be highly unusual to compose something without ever using it. that was fun. take care wassalam |

| An answer to 3 would be to mix some die in with them and freeze em. Then you could tell easily when you chuck them into the barrel. |

| [slm] :) Subhanallah, you lot are very fast masha’Allah especially Sister Mona who responded with five of the correct answers within minutes of posting the questions up! :o Bulwark and Mossy have also got acceptable answers. Watch out for "So you think you're clever 2?" tomorrow to see who gets the answers correct the quickest…once again by yourself ;) [wlm] :) |
