| My daughter-in-laws are so awesome. I only wish I was half as mature as they at their ages. The way the love my sons and look out for them. And my ldest daughter-in-law is such an awesome mother. I am astounded and in aw of how she is such a good mother. I always do things like buy them tid bits, My oldest I bought a journal so she could fill it with her thoughts for her daughter. But I want to do something very very special for them and would appreciate ideas. Oh and by the way I finally got the candle thing going, if any of you remember I was starting a candle business named after my granddaughter. The money to go in trust for her. I just went to the type steers for to approve the labels, but asked for some changes so will be waiting for a call from them. Now I have to think of a project for Grandbaby #2 who is due in October. They picted out names Alexandria for a girl and Alexander for a boy. Won't know what the baby is for another 4 to 5 weeks. Anyway, any suggestions on a special gift or outting would be most appreciated. |

| as salaamu alaykum azizah, hmm.. how about a basket of relaxation? :) you can include things like.. - soothing bubbles, salts, or scented soaps for the bath - one of those wooden massage tool thingies (I don't know what they're called) - face masque - scented candles - herbal tea - that little book 'don't sweat the small stuff for women' (which is actually very good) - one of those CDs with nature sounds like rushing water or morning birds in the woods I think, especially if she's a mom, she'd enjoy some pampering and something relaxing and soothing.. Hmm.. for some reason I feel like someone suggested this before.. but it was the first thought that came to mind when I read your post.. salaam :) |

| lol It was me whose suggested that several times and I've already done that for her. ;D I did find something but it was at walmart and not the quality I would like to give. It was a mothers ring, I am going to try to design one with space for future children and give her a Family ring with her, hubbys and the Grandbaby's stones on it. I'll take my design to a jewelers and have it custom made. What Ya think? |
