[slm] Some months back, there was a discussion here (dont remember which section) on public display of affection for *married couples*. If putting a piece of food in the mouth of one's wife is rewarding act, is it only when the parties are at home, or even in public? Are holding hands, embracing, sharing the same dish, say in a restraunt, endorsed, if not encouraged? I believe this is something which affects the overall modesty of the public. Anyone has any instances from sunnah regarding this matter. jazak Allah khair ( i hope this doesn't sound too silly me askin this Q ;) ) |

There has to be a built-in sense of modesty and humility to help guide this when uncertainty rules. |
