| as salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah, jazakum Allahu khayran for the duaas :) congratulations and mabrook to everyone else who graduated this year :) and may Allah grant the rest of y'all mad patience until your time arrives :P Alhamdulillah I completed a double major in psychology and history with a concentration in mid-east and near asian studies (that makes me sound a lot smarter than I actually am :P) So insha'Allah, I'm getting hitched this summer, and moving down to da south where I will work on losing my neurotic, fast-paced NY tendencies, and learn to chill and appreciate the hot weather 8) What am I going to do with my degree? that's a good question.. maybe go into education? or should I pursue psychology (which I really love)? or do more formal islamic studies? or start the Muslim version of the brady bunch as br. humble muslim suggested in one of his posts? ??? Allahu a'lam, we'll see how it goes :) please keep me in your duaas :) wasalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah ps -- for the sistas, if you wanna see some pics from my graduation, just im or msg me insha'Allah :) |
