[slm] we just got a new (used) pc. The person who had it before has msn messenger and it keeps having people say hi to me who think I am him. I tried to sign out many times from the little green person icon but it doesn't work, and I don't have another account to go in it which is the only other option. when i open explorer and my email usually it seems to sign me in autmotically. How do I get rid of it? The guy sometimes signs in and a little box says i am being signed out coz it is being used somewhere else. I feel bad for him but I don't know how to do it. if anyone knows tell me jazakum Allah khayr. |

Also how do you get rid of the headings titles etc he stored in the pc. When i go to type the subject if i put only one letter a window pulls down with lots of stuff he had written past. I feel like I am invading his privacy. I want to get rid of this too. |

I hope that helps :) wasalam |

I'm not sure now what you can do as I don't get these options when i click on the green icon. The options should relate to MSN and there should be an option to allow you to see who's online when it signs in. [quote]Which one please? Also, i did already cleared history. I'm not really good with computers so perhaps someone with more experience would know ??? Let us know how u get on [wlm] |

[slm] For XP only: start -> control panel Double click the "User Accounts" icon Click your account icon On the next screen select "Change my .NET passport" A button with "Use a different passport" should be visible, click it. This should start a 'wizard'. Follow directions. |
